Ocean Wisdom ft/ Method Man | Ting Dun
Ocean Wisdom‘s Wizville album has been without a shadow of a doubt, one one my favourite albums of the year, made extra special being that he’s straight out of the 273 and well on his way to grabbing that worldwide acclaim. Here we’ve got the video for the Method Man featuring Ting Dun, and its good. Buuuuuuut, it could have been great. The main part of the video – cars, smoke, grillz – is vintage Wu. But then the Meth part looks to have been filmed in someone’s kitchen, and thats a mad shame. I know, I know, logistical nightmare I’m sure, and a few years ago we’d have been hyped just for the UK/USA collabo. But it feels we’re only a hair’s breadth away from a piece of greatness here, and this was close to being that. That being said, Wiz is on a roll and make no mistake, he’s gonna get another chance or two to put something extra special down, and I for one am looking forward to that. < Koaste
