Live Tonight! Oddisee @ Patterns, Brighton

Late notice I know, but fans of (possibly, apparently) zooted intellectual boom-bap should be aware than Diamond District and Mello Music Group veteran Oddisee is performing at Patterns in Brighton tonight. Not sure why it didn’t sell out weeks ago, to be honest. Those as yet unconvinced of Oddisee’s talent should check out the opening track from this years Alwasta EP. It’s called “Asked About You” and I’ll embed below for those who can’t be bothered to open up another tab in their browser. This guy knows more about British history than the average Briton, even if his pronunciation is way off. An island that was occupied by “Brightons“? An interesting concept.
