Time to wake yourself up from possibly the quietest month in The 273’s history with the type of heavyweight wordplay you’d expect from Slip Jam. London’s Delta Lima is new to me, I’ve embedded his recent EP Man Versus Maschine below and will decide whether to check it out in full after I’ve seen his show. Less committed types who’d rather do things the other way round might want to click ‘play’ now. Birmingham’s Oracy I can vouch for, I picked up her Foot In The Door album earlier this year and it’s a promising debut. Her flow is tight, her attitude is spot on and the black country accent has you wondering why more rappers don’t make like they’re from the Midlands.
