Open Mike Eagle | Celebrity Reduction Prayer | prod. Oddisee

I have to admit to not being on the ball when it comes to Open Mike Eagle. Since hearing I Rock (which I love), I haven’t really followed up on that. So when this new video, produced by Oddisee popped into the inbox, I thought it was about time I gave him another go. Taken from his recently released album Persona, the track is a short comment on todays society, with Mike’s cadence starting melodic and progressing through frustration to what sounded to me like Danny Brown crossed with Busdriver. Worth a watch.
