Okay, so Kendrick is back. But he’s coming at us a little different. Not necessarily a bad different, although a quick glance of the soundcloud comments reveals that not everyone is happy about the switch up. I don’t know, to me it sounds like the kind of transformation that Outkast made somewhere between Southernplayalisticadillacmusik and Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, except Kendrick has skipped the albums in between. Hey, we can’t judge him on this one song right? Who knows, maybe this is a little something saccharine in what will be an album with more of that Compton sound. Anyway, the flows are tight as you’d expect, so give this one a few whirls and see what you think.
