Dub MD x Drama Class – Conflicted

I took a punt on this EP after seeing a tweet recommendation from ex Hip Hop Connection and now New York based journo Phillip Mlynar. Finally got round to checking it today, and its good. Drama Class is a team up between Brooklyn emcee Mr Live and ex-Anti Pop Consortium producer Earl Blaize. That was one of the things that drew my attention to this project actually. Anti Pop-Consortium. What happened to those guys? I remember them touring over here around ’98, possibly with DJ Vadim, and I’ve definitely got a copy of their 2002 LP Arrhythmia on vinyl somewhere, but they’ve definitely dropped off the radar since then. Anyway, this EP is free of charge, so there’s nothing to risk copping yourself a download, which I suggest you should do.
