Casual – Return of the Backpack [Produced by Jake One]
This one crept up on me. I’ve been a big fan of Casual all the way back to Fear Itself, but since this seems to have been out since March, I’ve obviously been sleeping. But there’s no way you can argue with a FREE Casual album, especially when all the beat duties have been handled by Jake One. In an intriguing twist, there’s a disclaimer that this “IS NOT THE CASUAL JAKE ONE ALBUM”, more a collection of old joints they’ve written since 2009, so that suggests that there is a CASUAL JAKE ONE ALBUM in the pipeline. Fingers crossed.
