Welcome to the South Easy
Week seven was another low scoring week for the whole league, with nobody managing to crack the 50pt barrier. The major upset of the weekend came from Blackpool beating Liverpool at Anfield, so looks pretty likely teams will be shipping out their Merseyside based stars before long.
The manager of the week award is split between two teams that both scored 47pts. The homie Truth keeps up his good form by being the highest scorer for two weeks running, and pushes himself up to 12th place, with Alex’s incredible free kick against Arsenal contributing 14pts to his score.
Tied with Truth with 47pts also is Kormac, with Everton’s Leighton Baines top scoring with 9pts. Not a massive solo total, but enough to keep him in the race for the title in third place.
Finally, the third highest scorer this week was Herbie Dragons with 46pts – 12pts* from Didier Drogba helping to push him up the table a little into 8th.
So no change in the top three again – surely it can’t stay this way all season…
So I’m gonna drop a little Kormac for you this week since Truth still hasn’t sent me any new stuff to play… And as this was his third weekly award, I might need some soon.
