Blast From The Past #18: Coloured Section – Bomb MC

After Tyni posted that video for Poets Corner’s London MC a little while earlier, I got a little tip from Mark B off that it wasn’t a strictly original track, and that this one might have been the inspiration behind it.

So where do people on here stand on the idea of reworking tracks into a UK version? Is it an okay thing to do, or is it straight up biting? I know there’s been various examples over the last few years (Names of which escape me right now – its still the morning), but check this and Tyni’s post and drop your opinions in the comments section below.

    Blimey, I see what you mean, but I like the fact it’s basically a UK version and I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad thing. UK heads have been on that before, Karl Hinds with Don Gramma which is a re-work of Big L’s ‘Ebonics’ and, erm, anyone else?
