The Brighton based Rum Committee have just released their new mixtape Committee Is Boss. 32 tracks for the price of three nuggets. You can’t really argue with that sort of value. Gi3mo, Prince Kong, Bukioe, TC Johnston and more bring that trademark grimy sound that they’ve been smashing shows with down here in the South. Part with your quids for this one.

A little treat for you here. Running Punch’s debut LP Publish or Perish has been out for a couple of weeks, if you haven’t checked it yet, you need to get a move on, because it’s pretty damn good. Its good to hear an emcee in Captain Bukioe who keeps a strong Southern accent without feeling the need to conform by adding London inflection. Plus he’s sick. Reminds me of First Down in some ways. Anyway, Sherlock Bones has dropped off another track to bless you with, so enjoy A Brief Heatwave. Nice.

Brighton based crew Running Punch (Captain Bukioe & Sherlock Bones) have dropped their debut album Publish Or Perish this month – its available from Rarekind & Rounder Records if you’re in the 273, or you can pick it up from leading UK Hip Hop site Suspect Packages if you’re not.
Here’s a couple of joints off of the LP to wet your whistle. I think these are both pretty tough. Hopefully get some more material off these guys for you in the near future (Hint Hint Lads)…
