New Slaughterhouse. Its hard to write a heartfelt track without coming off slightly Hollywood, but this ain’t bad.

I’m really not too sure what to think about this new track from Slaughterhouse. By rights, I should absolutely HATE it. For a start, it samples early 90′s euro-house chart hit The Rhythm of the Night by Corona. Secondly, the bizarre and frankly pointless intro featuring Eminem and some of the worst CGI I’ve seen since Shark Attack 3: Megalodon. But… for some reason, I don’t hate it. Maybe its the charisma of the emcees, but I can almost look past the fact they’ve sampled what they have. My brain hurts.

Boom. Big track and video fresh out of the Slaughterhouse. Some serious flows and an ill beat by Araab Musik. Video filmed during their set over at the SXSW festival and featuring a few cameos from various other artists that were performing over there. Looking forward to seeing what the new album has in store for us.

You know a cypher is a good one when you can’t decide which emcee killed it hardest. This one is truly massive.

You about to see peace destroyed / It’ll never be restored / When I unleash these beastly hordes on your CD stores / You wanna stop it you’re gonna need a priest, about three swords, a licence to ill from the Beastie Boys, three ouija boards and a squeegee / and please be warned, don’t ask what the squeegee’s for / or the holy water – acid rap that’ll eat these floors….

Looks like this is gonna be on some Sin City colour type shiz.

D.I.T.C producer Showbiz has remixed this track from Budden’s Mood Muzik 4 which dropped last year. It had some dope tracks amongst a couple of duds, so its well worth picking up.

Budden’s new video for one of his tracks off of Mood Muzik 4 – if you haven’t picked up a copy yet, the link is below. Its pretty strong. Lots of the usual Budden slightly emo lyrics – but that ain’t necessarily a bad thing if its done well. And for the most part, it is.

Sorry for the lack of posts this last weekend. Its a combination of coming down with a cold, and the arrival of PES 2011 at Illwood Heights. Don’t worry, things will be running as usual very soon.
Anyway, here’s the latest leaked track off Joe Budden’s Mood Muzik 4, produced by J Cardim. Looking forward to checking this out when it drops later this month. Can’t say this track grabbed me straight away, but Budden and Crooked are always on point.

Another artist I’ve nor heard off before, but when the video is featuring half of Slaughterhouse, I’m gonna check it out. Pretty nice. Love a little braggadocio flow to wake up to in the morning. Its like napalm to my tiredness.
