Wow. I’m loving this video. And nothing really happens. A one take shot of Monae’s face as she blasts her way though the track, slips and all, with every iota of emotion showing on her face. The production on this one, especially the drums remind me of Outkast’s B.O.B. and thats not a bad thing! If you haven’t picked up a copy of Janelle Monae’s LP The Archandroid, you should probably go get that.

I’ve read a couple of posts about this artist, but till I saw this video (thanks to Foreign Beggars’ Orifice Vulgatron for the hook up), I have to admit I’ve been sleeping. This is one hell of a video, and one hell of a track, the production reminiscent of Outkast’s B.O.B from the Stankonia LP. Her new LP The Archandroid is out now, and I think I’m gonna have to check for it on the strength of this. Highly recommended.
