It was either Gizmo or Kong from Rum Com that put me onto this dude, and it wasn’t long before Huzzah was on repeat play up here in Illwood Heights. Now it turns out his new mixtape is out on a free download ting via Mishka NYC.
I haven’t had a chance to check it yet, but I’ve DL’d it on the strength of that last track, and the fact he’s got a bunch of tracks produced by El-P, Esoteric and Jake One, and thats a strong trio right there.
Anyway, I’m gonna give this a whirl tomorrow, but let me know what you think.

good.
Its been two years since Def Jux emcee Camu Tao died of cancer. Label head honcho El-P is now preparing to release what would have been Camu’s first solo album King of Hearts. As an added bonus, you can download for FREE, the 2005 collaboration EP between Camu Tao and El-P (Central Services) – Forever Frozen In Television Time. I’ve always been a big fan of Camu Tao since picking up MHz records many years ago, and it was a sad day when he passed away. I haven’t had a chance to listen to this yet, but its downloaded and waiting, and I reckon its gonna be pretty interesting.

Company Flow emcee El-Producto has let loose a little treat here. Its the original unreleased version of Everything Must Go – a track which featured on the 2007 release I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead. Looking forward to hearing some new material from him soon after disbanding his record label Def Jux in favour of picking up the pen and pad again. He may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for those of us that remember when Funcrusher Plus dropped, it may well be eagerly anticipated.
