Yep, its happened again. The radio station has been shut down by the authorities, so no 273 Radio Show today, as you might have noticed from our lack of presence on the airwaves. Another kick in the teeth, but we’ll be back no doubt. You can’t keep a good thing down.

Shut Down Again…
December 21, 2010
273 Radio: Tuesday 21st Dec [EARLY REMINDER]
December 19, 2010Well, here we go again. 273 Radio returns to the airwaves and internet streams next tuesday between 12-3pm UK time on www.CodeSouth.fm. Got a load of new shish to give a little shine to, and hopefully joining me in the basement will be none other than Daps, resident DJ from the Beatdown and Beer & Rap nights that used to hold down Brighton residents for their Hip Hop fix. I did ask him last night during Salvo’s stag night festivities, so lets hope he still remembers…

273 Radio #6: Back In Business
October 20, 2010We’re back! Finally after all this time, The 273 Show returned to the airwaves after our brief hiatus, and aside from a few teething problems with the new studio set up, we settled back into the swing of things pretty easily. Got a few hits on the show shout box, so good to know Tyni and I weren’t just playing tracks for each other at least. Dropped a few gems for you during the three hours we were on air – Tyni threw on a couple of right bangers from the new LDZ mixtape Brainstorm, while I hit you off with the brand new Soul Khan single which winged its way into my inbox from the homie J57 in the early AM. Anyway, enough of my ranting, here’s the tracklist. We’ll be back next week. Yep, next week. Pow.

Frustration. Massive F#!kries Forces 273 Off Air Again
July 14, 2010This may come a little late for some of you, but apologies from the 273 team for not being able to broadcast for a second show in succession. We were all set for tuesday, with plenty of new music holstered and ready, only to be denied by news that upfrontdance – the station that we’re using right now, had broadcasting problems amongst other things.
I’m really hoping that things get sorted out ready for the show in a fortnight’s time, but we have been made no promises. I’m hoping we here at The273 are gonna be able to get together and record you a little podcast to tide you over – I’ll keep you updated on that as and when I know more.
Anyway, I’m feeling more than a little ticked off right now – things were starting to take off, and this is all threatening to take the shine off, but hold tight, the show ain’t going down without a fight. One love.

273 Radio #5 No Key To The Dojo [We finally got this ish recorded!]
June 15, 2010Another show done and dusted. Blackbelt Jonez had locked himself in the dojo, so it was left for Tyni and myself to hold things down. We threw out some hot tracks for you all, so big ups to those that tuned in rather than listen to the Beeb’s commentary of the New Zealand – Slovakia match. Big ups to the All Whites for that last minute equaliser though – marvellous scenes.
Anyway, after much faffing around, we managed to get the show recorded for those who were earning an honest pound, or otherwise unable to tune in for the live broadcast (Well almost – we got the first couple of hours recorded anyway before the recording gizmo reached its capacity). I’ve split the audio into two halves for you to download or stream below.
