One of my homies from the 360 Physicals days has just featured on a new video. C.Monts now lives out in the Czech Republic where he’s still making good music as illustrated by this track with Nironic and friends. The highlight of this track is Johnny Youngblood’s verse though. Absolutely bonkers. In a wheres-my-straightjacket type way.

Gutted to hear that the Beastie Boys Adam Yauch aka MCA passed away last night. Grew up listening to the Beasties, and when I did eventually get to catch them live at Wembley Arena a few years back, it was one of the best live gigs I’ve ever been to. I knew Yauch had been fighting cancer, but I guess thought he was through the worst of it as I hadn’t seen any updates for a while. He also directed most of the group’s videos under the alias Nathaniel Hornblower. RIP MCA.
