Possibly the best news I’ve heard in ages, and surely a surefire tip for next years oscars if this video clip for the lead single from the soundtrack is anything to go by. Highway doesn’t seem to have a release date that I can find anywhere on the internet, let alone IMDB, but I’m sure its gonna be an anticipated release for heads all over the globe, and I for one will be hunting it down as soon as it drops.

I know a lot of bay area music is marmite, but the beat on this track from 40 Water’s son Droop-E is mad nice. This has got a laid back late night feel to it, and although I’m posting it in the AM, you can save this one for listening later. Yo, I played this on the show last week, and I thought I’d drop the video up on here too. Big Boi’s Sir Luscious Leftfoot LP is one of the most eagerly awaited albums of 2010, and as yet there’s no solid release date I can find anywhere, but given the few tracks that have leaked so far, especially this one and Shutterbug, I think its gonna be worth waiting for. I’m still hoping that Big Boi and Andre 3000 put aside their creative differences and give us all a new Outkast LP at some point, but until then, this will have to do.
