DJ Philly from Trackside Burners Radio Show has just tipped me off as to this film screening going off in Notting Hill on the 18th of this month. I know its slightly outside The 273, but from what I’ve heard about the film, its meant to be pretty good. As well as the film screening, you also get live music from Prose and The Estimators, plus DJs on the night including Matman, Philly and Trojan Soundsystem.
So if any of our London readers are stuck for something to do on the 18th, this could well be something to check out.

Trackside Burners are honoured to present to you WHOLETRAIN a film by Florian Gaag aka AERO ONE (writer/director/producer) bringing grassroots graffiti to the screen, and the essence of where it all started! The film soundtrack features Tame One and El Da Sensei (Artifacts), KRS-One, Planet Asia, Afu-Ra and many more musicians who have original graffiti foundations and a love of the culture. It is a cutting edge, emotionally gripping drama and critically acclaimed award winning film. Edgy editing and grandiloquent camera work, a pulsating soundtrack and an excellent ensemble of actors, make WHOLETRAIN a film experience not to be missed.

Haven’t dropped a lickle graf film up on here in time, so here’s a sweet one I ran across on Hurt You Bad just now. Astek has definitely got some style.

Dope new video from Australia’s Bliss N Eso. I’ve seen this stop frame graf animation done before, but they’ve definitely tied in in with the track in a tight way. This is definitely something you should check out whether you’re a fan of the music or a graf head.

One for all my graf heads out there. This track is mad nice. Heard a little bit about Meyhem Lauren in the past months, and on the weight of this track, I’m definitely gonna be checking for some more.

Taken from the Recharged LP by Cook Classics, here’s a cool video for Aloe Blacc’s track The Warriors, following the creation of a pretty dope artwork based on the film of the same name. The track itself is an interesting concept, as I’m sure that most of the lyrics are straight up taken from the film script. I’m sure Tyni will be able to verify that for me. Aloe Blacc’s Good Things LP should be out on Stones Throw a little later this month.

Teefed this off the Heavy Artillery site, but I figured it was worth throwing up on here. Sick painting from STORM, DOES, GEBES & WANY. Definitely worth two minutes and fifty three seconds of your valuable time.
