The Committee took over the airwaves at Brighton’s Juice FM for a little interview from some dry lunch deejay, and a quick performance of a few little bits. • Koaste
Here’s some footage of Longusto, TC, myself and the incredible Emily Farrah dropping a new track at the Concorde a few weeks back for the Rum Committee album launch party. The track is currently getting mixed, so hopefully will have something for you very soon. Thanks to Bonny for the footage! • Koaste
Some footage from the Rare Kind organised night that went down at the Concorde a couple of weeks ago. Rum Com took to the stage and smashed it. Gritty Committee style. If you haven’t picked up Boozetown yet, (running) punch yourself. • Koaste
If any of you legends are out and about in the 273 tonight, you better get your collective asses down to The Hope on Queens Rd for this month’s installment of Slipjam which is guaranteed to go off.
The main event is the album launch party for Enlish’s Cold Lazarus project which has been in the pipeline for bloody ages, but is finally ready to see the light of day.
Also performing is Phoenix Da Icefire, and there’ll be the usual Open Mic rowdiness, and as per usual at Slippers, its all for FREE. No excuses. 9pm-2am. Be there. • Koaste
Nice little summery vibe on this one as TC aka Ceezlin from Brighton’s Rum Committee performs a slick acoustic version of the Mad Hatter produced track I Remember (which you’ll find on Rum Com’s mixtape Committee Is Boss HERE). Nice stuff. • Koaste
After the unbridled success of the last rammed out free entry jam at the Concorde 2 a few months ago, the homie HP from Rarekind Records (Trafalgar St, Brighton – if you don’t know, get to know) has organised another one for Friday 6th May, and the line up once again is seriously heavy. I recommend getting there mad early as I sloped down after getting out of work around 11ish last time and the queue was an hour long. I managed to swerve that, but you might want to plan ahead. See you there. • Koaste
