While we’re on the topic of 184, his album Kill All Humans released under the alias of Baby Button Eyes is now available for digital download from Last Minute Records’ bandcamp. Definitely on a different tip to a lot of his music, this is a bugged out, blurry masterpiece of eerie melodies and haunting singing, which definitely deserves a place on your hard drive. 273 co-signed.

Here’s the new video from J57 and his collaboration with UK producer and Brown Bag Allstars affiliate Jefferson Price. Lovely track this… got a real late night vibe to it.

Slightly outside the box for The 273, but this video caught my eye this morning. The tune is pretty fresh, and the imagery of the four horsemen of the apocalypse as BMX riding kids is a great idea. Got that late night feel about it, so might want to wait for the sun to go down and throw this on loud.

You might know him as Ollie Bates, you might know him as Illustrate. His LP The Stuff which came out a couple of years ago was a solid piece of work, and I had the pleasure of chilling with the guy himself when I first got out to Australia in ’08.
Anyway, he’s just sent me this link to a new track he’s written called You Are Boring – on an acoustic flex – and this one topic I can definitely relate to, since I work in the bar trade. Anyway, check it out, and let me know what you think.
