I currently feel like I’ve had the shit beaten out of me by David Haye. Its could be all down to the John Candy-esque combination of planes, trains and automobiles I had to use to get back from Aarhus in Denmark yesterday, but is more likely down to the bruising music that Ollie from Bare Noize played during the set when we tore up the club on Friday night. After the boys got double booked, I got asked to tag along and hype the crowd as there was a spare plane ticket going, and there was no way I was gonna pass up a free ticket to somewhere else…
…only problem was, the promoter couldn’t get the name on the ticket changed at the last minute without a massive Ryanair surcharge. They surcharge everything, Ryanair. Wouldn’t be surprised if they started charging for oxygen in the event of a loss of pressure in the cabin. Anyway, Ollie and I decided to split the cost of a new ticket so I decided to go along.
The crowd in the place was bonkers. Ollie dropped some serious bangers, including the Bare Noize remix of Medison and Skrein’s Harry, which turned the dance floor into a mosh pit. I have to admit, I’ve not had much experience hyping crowds over dubstep, but after this experience, I’m hoping to go on the road with Bare Noize again. Absolutely mental. If anyone who was there is reading this – massive props to you.

The Aarhus crowd goes apeshit
Big shouts out go to the promoter, who after witnessing the carnage we brought to the place, decided to reimburse us for the plane ticket – definitely one of the good guys. Got to also give a shout out to the Sherlock Holmes pub, whose Full English breakfast saved my life the next morning.
Back to reality now – gots to get recording this track for 2 Bit Thugs this afternoon as the deadline is looming large. I love deadlines. Anyone ever working with me should make sure to give me one, as I need the kick up the arse sometimes. Right, lets go…
