If you like ridiculously high budget videos which don’t bear any obvious relation to the track they’re written for, then this new one from Jay and Yeezy will be right up your tree lined mile long driveway. Its like the London riots with lazers. • Koaste
I’ve been using the high tech powers of Google to try and find out what the deal is with this beef between Lil’ Wayne/Drake and Pusha T, but as far as I can see its all escalated over a few digs at each other’s fashion sense. Whatever it’s over, I’m not adverse to one of my favourite emcees letting the red mist come down and taking a few lyrical pop shots at a pre meditated target. Apparently, this one’s already got a Lil’ Wayne response, but you know what, I really can’t be arsed trying to find it. • Koaste

Booda French has put his new Ventolin EP up for download on a name-your-price tip. Its a dope project as you will well know if you’ve heard the two singles, 61 Grace and Full Time. Definitely worth getting your hands on. Throw the dude a couple of quids if you’re feeling flush as well as the EP is definitely better than a lot of one’s you’d have to splash cash on. • Koaste
Since the sun has finally decided to show its face on the South Coast, I thought it was time to release this track into the wild. One to cop heatstroke to. The download link will come soon. I really want to film a video to this one. Any film makers in and around the 273, get in touch! • Koaste
Quakers are a 35 strong Hip Hop collective down with Stones Throw. They’ve got a ridiculously sized 41 track album out now, you can cop that HERE, and this track with Guilty Simpson and MED is a brass band banger. Bigness. • Koaste
Here’s a new video from J57 and the BBAS taken from my man’s new release The Ports EP which dropped today, along with his other release 2057. You can pick up both of the EPs exclusively at J57Music.com • Koaste
Produced by Dutch board mangler JeeJaa, this new free download from Ralph Rip Shit is a great slice of summery Hip Hop. Sip your icy beverages to this one, kids! • Koaste
New collab between OhNo and MF Doom, taken from the former’s forthcoming LP Ohnomite which should be dropping this month. Some incredible guest spots lined up for this album, including Evidence, Erick Sermon, Sticky Fingaz, Termanology and Roc Marciano. • Koaste
Don’t know a lot about Ab Soul other than this one track of his, Mayday, keeps popping up repeatedly on my iPhone when its on shuffle. The Danny Brown hype machine on the other hand keeps rolling along steadily. The duo’s voices on this track definitely complement each others though. Good shit. • Koaste
