273 Fantasy Football: Week 16
December 7, 2010This week’s Premier League football schedule wasn’t too disrupted by the heavy snow that fell in the UK this week – only Manchester Utd’s game at Blackpool was called off. But which of our managers remained ice cold, and whose defences melted away? Lets run down the top three in reverse order:
Third place this week goes to Scizzahz with 64pts. Samir Nasri donning the captains armband and racking up 30pts. Two goals of sheer class for the Arsenal man, and Arsenal supporting Sciz has to be happy with that.
Second place this week goes to Herbie Dragons, with Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez scoring him 16pts towards his total of 65pts. Despite scoring a point more than Sciz, Herbie drops two points below him into third place in the league, probably due to spending some of those hard earned points on a couple of transfers.
The manager of the week award goes to… ahem… yours truly though. 30pts for Samir Nasri, 79pts in total, and that puts me 53pts out in front at top of the table. Sitting pretty, I think the phrase is. There’s still over half of the season to go though, and the fat lady hasn’t even arrived at the venue yet.
So here’s a little track I did with Scizzahz a while back. The top two in the Fantasy Football league at the moment, along with Birmingham’s Sonnyjim. Enjoy.
