Public Enemy – Welcome To The Terrordome 2011 [VIDEO]

November 25, 2010

Public Enemy’s 1989 classic just got brought up to date with a 2011 remix and a new video. This track still knocks hard after all these years. All we need now is for Gunshot to release a 2011 remix of Battlecreek Brawl and I’ll be real happy.

Foul Mouth Jerk ft/ The Artifacts – Back Up On The Scene [VIDEO]

November 23, 2010

Oh shiiiit…. The Artifacts back on a track together? Niiiice. Big ups to Foul Mouth Jerk, who I know nothing about other than he released another track called Small Town USA with Masta Ace last year. This is pretty slick – a tough verse from El Da Sensei, and a pretty bugged out verse from Tame. Maybe all that time smoking angel dust with Cage is finally taking its toll…

Mac Miller (@MacMiller) – Knock Knock [VIDEO]

November 23, 2010

The up and coming young emcee outta Pittsburgh drops his new video for one of the tracks off his K.I.D.S. mixtape. The move the dude does with his cap at the 3:00 mark is mad slick. Next time I’m bored, I’m gonna try that one.

Copywrite – Tic Toc (Produced by RJD2) [VIDEO]

November 23, 2010

Here’s the new video from Copywrite, taken from his new LP The Life And Times Of Peter Nelson. I wasn’t feeling the last video I saw off this project, but this RJD2-produced track is dope as fuck. The video is pretty slick as well. If there are some more tracks like this on the album, I’m gonna have to give it a listen.

273 Fantasy Football: Week 14

November 23, 2010

Week fourteen is over, and we’ve had some high scores from a couple of teams who haven’t really produced the goods this season so far, proving that the competition is far from over. After all, we’re not even at Christmas yet.

Coming in at third place this week, with a great score of 73 pts, moving him up to fourth in the table is Herbie Dragons, DJ for Genius Squad. 15 pts of that coming from Rafael Van Der Vaart, who is proving to be one of the signings of the season so far.

Second place this week, with 75 pts is The 273′s Blackbelt Jonez, who climbs up the table to thirteenth place. Van Der Vaart is in his team too, but 16 pts for Bolton’s Kevin Davies adds a bunch to his weekly total too.

Manager of the week however, goes to Longusto, who not only has Van Der Vaart and Davies, but Carlos Tevez as captain, racking up 32pts alone, and those three contribute massively to his weekly total of 88 pts! That moves him up to ninth in the table, and we could see some power moves from ‘Gusto, as he’s spent the first thirteen weeks of the season not knowing his password, and therefore unabel to change his team. Now he’s definitely back in the hunt.

Manager of the Week: Benjamima Cuddlesluts aka Longusto (Menagerie/Swampfoot/The Benjamins)

For smashing the week’s scoreboard, here’s one you might have missed. Taken from 2007, the video for Swampfoot’s Seen To Be Believed, featuring the man like Longusto on mic duties. Enjoy.

Highest Scoring Week:
Koaste – Illwood Kings: 96pts (Week 1)
Longusto – ReallyRudeName: 88pts (Week 14)
Manager of the Week Awards:
Truth – Gats McGhee (3)
DJ Kormac – Kormtown Athletic (2)
Ewan Rarekind – Lets Get It In (2)
Koaste – Illwood Kings (2)
Snuff The Ablist – Snuff The Ablist (2)
Herbie Dragons – Bucka Juniors (1)
Rizzle – Got Tings In Socks (1)
Cuthdaddy – Wolton Blunderers (1)
Legs – Howling Pack (1)
Longusto – ReallyRudeName (1)

Gangrene (Alchemist & Oh No) – Take Drugs [VIDEO]

November 22, 2010

Oh wow. Just spotted this video on line, and it is pretty damn twisted. Wasn’t too keen on the last Gangrene track I heard either, but this one is raw. You definitely need some of this in your life if you like that hardcore shish.

Gangrene’s LP Gutter Water should be available to cop right now.
